In order to expand the living space of the old vintner’s house, the roof was opened up and extended over a large area towards the garden. A staircase, designed as an accessible furniture, connects the existing living space with the new private rooms in the attic. A common terrace integrated into the roof bay is located in front of the new rooms. The appearance to the street remains largely unchanged.
